i just bought a laptop, and the hdmi is cropping the screen on all four sides. i dont think its my tv since all the settings show the same cropping. like one setting made it 4:3 and it was still cropped. my tv is a seiki 55 inch tv, and its either lcd or a led.

you might need to set the display resolutions options for the 2nd monitor (use Windows +P key) separately. Also some TV's have on their own settings a video option (usually done with the TV's own remote) an "Auto fit" or "auto resize" or similar setting.

ill try the windows and p key in a minute, but i think the laptop is to blame. since it would of shown the full screen in atleast 4:3, UPDATE: the windows and p did not work.
Fixed, i set the resolution a to slightly lower, and gained a custom resolution option. and moved the slider till it fit!
