I am sorry... I did not understand, it's better to install Win-7 32 or 64 bit?

Dear Maxie, I am ready for the clean install of Win7 x64 Ultimate SP1. I apologize for the many questions, but I wish to know whether I can install it in a new formatted partition or must format the entire hard disk. Thanks in advance forever!

Make sure you Backup any Files or Documents you want to keep ... Do you have a Recovery Drive for Windows 8 ? ...

If you have any old Windows 7 Partitions delete them all ..

I am not sure of what size of Drive you have ...

Only you can decide which size of Partitions you need ..

I am having the exact same issue with this APU

AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics

Hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9851&SUBSYS_F9361179&REV_00

I bought my computer (Toshiba Satellite C75D-B7200) Win 8.1 and quickly formatted it to 7. I have so far managed to install every driver besides the one for the graphics. Inside the device manager it shows "STANDARD VGA GRAPHICS ADAPTER"

So far I have tried installing the drivers though the AMD CCC which fails to recognize my apu. I have tried installing the drivers for the graphics from other manufactures websites with the same apu and it just runs the AMD CCC after downloading. I have also tried to "update driver" in the device manager but the windows says it is the vga driver is the best it has found.

Nothing seems to be working here. If anyone has a solution to this problem that doesn't involve running windows 8/8.1 please post.

Windows is completely up to date btw

I have tried that, yes. When you run that it unpacks some files and when you point to the folder from the update driver option it says the standard vga is the best one on the system. Also when you run the setup file in the unpacked folder it just pops up amd ccc and doesn't have the graphics option in it only sm bus and other stuff i have installed already.

That is the problem the Graphics is part of Chipset ... If you look on the HP Website you will not see any Chipset Drivers

So looking else where for a Driver for the Graphics is not going to work ...
