Hi Fred Welcome to Seven Forums ... Many thanks for Posting your Solution ..
I'm becoming mad only for installing my programs onto this Toshiba Satellite. I am sorry but, I don't know when I'll begin to install Win 7.
When you buy a new computer it likes when you buy a new car, with a difference: you find a chaffeur who decides where to go and what to buy, whom to meet, the directions. A true nightmare. In my opinion if you have not a touch screen computer, windows 8 is useless.
I will keep in touch - not screenly but wordly!
Thank you Belfast's boss!
At least we know the Solution now ...
I also have Windows 8 Computer ... Took me awhile to get used to it ..
I Installed Classic Shell no sign of them horrible tiles ...
Maxie and Co. I am happy you found the solution for Radeons and Other Devils. Finally I'm here again in this unending story.
I prepared the partition for the clean install of Win 7 Pro 64 bit, I changed the boot into CSM mode (My satellite has a Win 8.1 preinstalled with system UEFI boot), but "cannot install Win 7 because the partition is of GPT type". After googling many hours I know that I should delete all partitions and install Win 7 first and then Win 8. Minitool Partition could convert my drive from GPT to MBR style with no loss of data, but when I launch the operation it menaces me so: "This disk contains system partion and convert this disk to MBR style will cause your system to be unbootable."
My rage is that Win 8.1 does not allow users to create images of it to restore in case of experiments. Suggestions? Thanks in advance and afterance!
