Replace Standard VGA Graphic adapter with AMD Radeon(TM) R4 Graphics
Hi everyone.
I am so happy with Windows 7 that I have bought a new laptop Toshiba Satellite L50D-B, but I did not love nothing of the pre-installed win 8 at all, so I formatted the disk and copied onto it the last image I had of Window 7 and all my well functioning programs. The image came from a HP Pavilion 6xxxx, thus the drivers of all hard drive components needed to be replaced with that of Toshiba. I went on Toshiba site and found all drivers I needed of my new laptop and for windows 7 (32 first and 64 bit then). The only problem remaining is that I cannot replace the Standard VGA Graphics adapter with the AMD Radeon(TM) R4 Graphics. I have tried any methods I know, mounted and unmounted many drivers. I tried also to make a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit in a new partition, but the standard vga graphics adapter remains there impassible. Catalyst installs but does not see the display. I used DDU (Display Driver Uninstall), the sole program that has eliminated Catalyst perfectly from my new laptop, but the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter remains still unmovable. As i found suggested on the internet I tried to uninstall the old driver and reinstall the new in windows dafe mode. Is it possible there are some HP drivers blocking the installation of the correct AMD driver???
Any suggestion? I have the disks for restoring my satellite to its original horror Win 8.1 pre-installed state, if this can be of some help, to catch some 8.1 drivers, for example...
Thank in advance for a help.
