Windows 7 Aero does not support 4 displays?

I am currently running 3 displays (2x 1920x1080, 1x 2560x1440) on a 2GB MSI 6970 Lightning and once I connect a 4th display (42" HDTV) my desktop theme reverts to basic and cannot enable Aero (grayed out).

My 1080p monitors are running off of the 2 mini displayports w/active adapters, the 1440p display is running off of the dual DVI, once I connect my HDTV to HDMI my theme changes to basic.

I read somewhere that Windows, for some reason, does not support Aero theme with 4 or more monitors connected to a single card and requires a 2nd card if I want Aero enabled with 4 monitors. Is this true? Can someone verify?

    Or should I enable eyefinity?

I think adding a second card would be your best option over eyefinity.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading too. Guess I'll have to pick up a card and put the 1440p on it with the rest of the 1080p monitors on the 6970. Thanks for the input!
