It should just be your Graphics which is affected...
I do know, need to try to reconnect 3d glasses each time the computer is turned on the past couple days. When I bring up the Nvidia control panel to run the glasses connection, it will not complete, stating do not have proper hardware. After many, many Nvidia clean reinstalls, might get past that part, then go to the Nvidia link to test, and now get Areo not activated, and need compatible hardware. You tube on their 3d videos also get statement need compatible software and hardware. I am probably missing a few steps or pop ups here. The Nvidia had a pop up, "needed to reconfigure Windows 7 back to basic to be compatible with this site". So that is why I believe I am at basic and not premium. Just want to get back to premium to be able to use all of its items.
Sorry to be so long, thanks again.
Might just be graphics, I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. All I have been doing the past several months is following what Nvidia has told me. Sometimes the person on the other end, states its an operating system issue, sometimes they state it is their update, sometimes they state need to download more software, so on and so on.
I have seen a few instances of 3d vision wanting to Install in Firefox ..
If you have a Restore Point try that ...
I do use Firefox. Since this latest event was just a couple days ago. When my friend gets here perhaps he can do a restore point for three days ago, and it will not affect anything. Then as stated earlier completely uninstall Nvidia and then reinstall again. And perhaps try the Windows 7 Repair software?
A Restore might just fix every thing back to normal ..
You should not need to Re-Install the Drivers ..
I hope you are right. My friend should know how to do that.
I am glad I found this website, and all the assistance.
You are all great.
I will keep watching for more answers over the next hour or so.
If any of you should get to Las Vegas, I owe you all a meal on me!!
Thanks will take a look. By the way, it may be soon that this computer will be going to my wife, and I get a new one. Which graphics cards do all of you find best? The AMD or Nvidia. This past experience has not been great between me and Nvidia, but if all of you say stick with them I will. We both are not gamers, but enjoy the 3d video's we take on our 3d camcorder, and the other 3d content that is available.
Thanks
