    Why would I have this ?


    Why would I have nvflsh64.sys turn up on my desktop ?

    as i'm using an Asus ATi 5850 card.

    Doing a quick google search; it points to two different topics. One, being a legitimate driver or driver update and the other is a virus, worm, trojan or bug of some sort. Have you recently updated any drivers? Run any and all software you have for bugs and virus's.

    Try this free software....
    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes

    Then it will leave results in notepad and then you can post here for more help!

    Not sure but "Nvflash" is a flashing program for Nvidia video card BIOS' and that file seems to be related to that program.

    Spot on that man ! yes I remember now I had a Nvidia card card with borked bios and had to download Nvflash, bit of a mystery how it came to be on my desktop but least I now know where it came from.
