    Problem with HD Video with Full Screen (Window Seven)


    Dear Sir,
    I am facing problem to watch HD videos with following specifications. i am giving you just example of below specifications.
    File Format, MKV
    Resolution, 1280X720
    whenever i want to open VLC & try to watch movie with full screen screen always freez or play with as slow motion but no problem with cinema scope or small screen
    My system specifications are as below. Kindly help me in this regard.

    Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
    System Model: Dell, OptiPlex 745
    BIOS: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 2.2.0
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz
    Memory: 2048MB RAM
    Available OS Memory: 2038MB RAM

    I would think the problem is from the 2.13 GHz cpu and you only have 2 GB of memory.

    I only use VLC and it`s flawless so I don`t think it`s a problem with VLC.

    You need to get a good 2 GB video card, that should cure the problem.

    What case do you have, is it a slim or mid tower ?

    There has been a fix with Intel GMA X4500 not playing HD videos smoothly. Download the latest drivers off from intel's web site. I can play 1080P videos with my Intel GMA 3100 but with 80%-100% CPU Usage but that's normal.
