TORRENTG........YOU are a god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just upgraded my Pent4 HD machine to Win 7 and the graphics card was my only issue.
I did every hotfix and driver install AMD/ATI had to offer and to no avail. When I would watch a video, it would be sluggish under windows 7. Worked fine under winXP. I followed your instructions here and now my computer shows the HD4650 AGP card in the device manager. I tried a video and running smooth. My WEI score for my graphics were 1 for both graphics and gaming graphics. After install graphics is now 5 and gaming graphics is now 6.4 I did try to install the CCC but that doesn't work but then again, CCC hasn't worked since I had an all-in-wonder card under XP SP1. Also on step 8 I could only get to the folder and had no option to select the actual driver so I backed out and selected from the list and found my card. I really don't a\care about CCC, just wanted my card to work fast not as a generic VGA adaptor.
Again YOU ARE A gOD...Why can't ATI come up with a HOT fix like this?? Many Thanks to TORRENTG

Updated DirectX9 still sluggish when playing PPS movies (P2P).

I am currently using Microsoft driver for ATI Radeon 9600 series (WDDM), have tried ATI catalyst driver 8.4, 10.3 but failed to work with PPS movies.

Problem solved after I upgraded from 1.4Ghz to 2.08 Ghz processor, now video streaming is smooth without lag. I have also increase the RAM from 2 to 2.5G.

Hi I have the 64BIT Win 7 version, and it keeps complaining about the Catalyst software being 32 bit, also I install the .inf file for my AGP HD3850 512mb Powercolor card, but it still says theres no driver 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)'

Any suggestions? Sick of fuzzy graphics/no games will be loaded and no support for MS AMD or Powercolor

Cheers.
