    GTX-750 Ti DVI Audio?

Am thinking of changing my Graphics card with this specific card

    Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card (2GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

The way I use my system I want to power two monitors with sound (either / or not at the same time, the monitors are a little way apart so the sound is better if it comes from the Monitor position, ( I do not really have space for separate speakers )

I can get the video to operate without issue using the DVI (via HDMI adaptor) for one monitor and Via HDMI to the other monitor

The issue is sound - with my older Nvidia card I had Stereo Sound transmitted via the DVI (adaptor) output and full 5.1 via the HDMI, which suited my needs exactly.

My current AMD R7 240 2GB card does not support sound via the exact same set-up I used previously

So finally to the question - Can anyone confirm that the Nvidia still works as they used to or not - I have read various on-line posts that give conflicting information. some say that the card does work in this manner (only with Nvidia, due to a special wiring of the DVI), some just say that DVI does not support sound, which is correct to the spec of course.

Rest of my details are in my specs, (am looking to upgrade to a 750W Silver rated PSU), and any other comments would be appreciated

The Nvidia cards support audio thought the DVI connection as long as you use a proper DVI to HDMI adapter, which shouldn't be a problem if you already had this configuration with the adapters you have on hand.

Some video cards that have 1080P Playback Support but doesn't have an HDMI (Mostly comes with S-Video instead) will have one of their DVI Ports to carry audio signal if that is you have a DVI to HDMI adapter. Nowadays only the HDMI is the one that carries audio and digital video signal.

I do not use Digital Audio on my GTX750 Ti but as for the quality of video, it is a good bang for the Buck!

Order placed for 750Ti Card, 750W "Silver" Modular PSU, and 2 x good quality adaptors, (just in case option )

Modular PSU is a bit OTT but gives room to breath, and the modular cables will help with tidy-up of interior of case

All installed and working as required :) can now select between the four active sound output options, (Monitor 1, Monitor2, On-board Audio, or front headphone), and these options are available in the more advanced apps so I could have more than one in use concurrently.

    Just for info,

I did have a red tint issue, on Streamed web content from Netflix & Amazon Prime, with the latest 344.75 Drivers on my Samsung monitor, but reverted to the 740 drives shipped with the Card and all is good
