    Extending or showing desktop on more then 2 monitors.


    Is it possible?

    Here are my specs.

    I want to output on both HDMI and VGA

    Hello Duckling,

    As long as you have a monitor connected up to each of the HDMI and VGA ports on the graphics card, then yes you can.

    You would right click on the desktop and click on Screen Resolution to make the changes per monitor like below to extend the desktop on to each monitor.

    Hmm for some reason it only lets me use 2 monitors...

    I try and it automatically only choose to work with 2 monitors.

    Could you post a screenshot of your settings? It may help determine what may be happening.

    Do you have the latest 9.10 ATI drivers installed for your graphics card?

    Unfortunately, no. If you only have one graphics card, it can not output to 3 monitors at one time. At least not the 4xxx series. I believe the 5xxx series allows this, though.

    The reason it can't work is because two of the 3 ports share the resources...meaning the card is physically not able to create 3 images at once.
