    Problem aligning two identical monitors

    Hi,

I've been trying to align my two monitors so that the mouse doesn't "slip" from the bottom right corner of my main (left side) to the right-side monitor when going for the show-desktop button.
i.e. I was trying to replicate this solution here: link

but for some reason, every time I change the alignment and hit "apply", the screens flash and just revert back to the default state, which is exactly aligned across the edge. Its driving me crazy!

    Any help appreciated!

Right tick on Taskbar and Select Desktop. You will see a new Desktop icon on the Taskbar that should work for you.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how this solves my problem. If I understood you correctly, all this does it put a desktop shortcut on my taskbar.

I understand your frustration But I do not think that anyof the major graphics chip developers support arranging multiple monitors at anything other than flush to each other.

All I can suggest to ensure that you have control of the issue is move the task-bar vertically, to the far left hand edge edge of the screen, which can add an Not ideal, but unless you re-arange to have the right hand monitor as your main (which appears to be assumed with all the set-ups I've seen), this will always be an issue
