| | Windows 7 WARP I just came across an article describing WARP. Basically, it allows you to play games and do graphics-intensive tasks without a good video card, and maybe even without an accelerated card at all, using the CPU instead. However, all the articles I found were from back in 2008. Does anyone know if Warp made it into the retail version? How do you enable it? |

| | Less than likely. Don't count on playing any standard PC game from the last many years without a dedicated graphics accelerator. |

| | This is what I'm talking about: Windows 7: Play Crysis Without a GPU - Tom's Hardware I'm trying to improve, even slightly, the graphics performance of a Netbook (No video card replacement here!) It sounds promising. I would have thought it wasn't possible/practical either, but it looks like they did it. |

| | i believe it wasn't put in, but support was added to use the GPU and CPU in tandem to accelerate things like decoding/recoding |
