Please provide more specs about your system. What graphics card, what version of Catalyst, what computer, etc.?

Anyway, I'd follow this 3-step recipe:

    (1) uninstall CCC using Control Panel -> uninstall programs -> select AMD Catalyst Install Manager, right-click and select "change". Wait for the dialog to initialize, select NEXT to proceed. You should then get a window from Catalyst Install Manager with the "uninstall manager" radio button pre-selected.

Push NEXT, and on the next window select CUSTOM and push NEXT to get the Customized Uninstall window. You'll then get a new window with the currently installed features of Catalyst (which you selected or defaulted when you last installed Catalyst driver package), all currently un-checked. Select the "AMD Catalyst Control Center" box and push NEXT.

Follow the rest of the dialog process, and re-boot.

    (2) When you come up from re-boot, you should no longer have Catalyst Control Center installed.

Then follow the steps enumerated in this post of the "Catalyst Control Center will not open/install" thread in this forum, to clean anything residual from the Registry and folders on C.

    (3) Finally, (and this is the final step in the sequence described in (2) above), re-install Catalyst Control Center from the folder in which you last installed the driver package, going down into the expanded folders and run SETUP.EXE. Take the "custom" install approach, and when presented with the options for install just check Catalyst Control Center.

    Re-boot.

    Does it work now??
