    Display resolution stuck at 656 x 496

One day everything was fine, the next the option to change the resolution was greyed out and stuck at 656 x 496. The name of the monitor comes up as strange symbols. I reinstalled drivers, searched google, can't seem to find a fix for this problem. As you can imagine, it's impossibly awkward to use.

I've attached pictures of what I mean.

    Windows 7 home premium 36bit
    Asus z87 pro motherboard
    Intel i3 Processor
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 (2x4GB ram)

Let me know if you need more info.

    Thanks!!

    Hello!

I'm using a Samsung 225MW and I don't think I have a graphics card. Maybe I'm using the one on the motherboard... if that's even a thing.
