    nvidia surround not working.

I am having a EXTREMELY frustrating time with this.
I have tried every single thing on the internet and it still won't work.

    I have 2 980's with a i7 5930k.
    everything is new

to get all the useless stuff out of the way:
I tried monitors on both cards.
    I reinstalled windows.
I reinstalled the drivers doing a CLEAN install
    it is on windows 7.
I have tried it on different motherboards.
    tried it on ONE card.
tried it on W7 ultimate AND enterprise.

now for the problem. basically It will not show my main max resolution which is 7680x1080. it goes to 5760x1080. even if I go to that, every reboot it reverts.

I can make a custom res but it still reboots AND it doesn't show up in all games.

If any of you look it up or dealt with this problem before, I did try the inf solution. you download moninfo and make a "driver" and install it in device manager etc. nothing.

if ANYONE can figure this out you will be my best friend in the universe.

nvidia surround can only use 3 moitors you can`t spread a game across 4.

Please fill out your specs as much as possible :)
When did I say I used 4 monitors?

    7680/4 = 1920 and 5760/3 = 1920
seeing as your vertical resolution is 1080, one can only assume you have 4 1080p montors (1920x1080) or you have 3 and you have miscalculated.

21:9 aspect on 3 monitors, why? not even the best peripheral vision could cope with that much real estate.
None the less, I suppose it's still a problem, the question now is whether surround works on 3 monitors at 2560x1080, and that will need to be answered by our multiple monitor guys, I'll call in at the ranch and see if anybody has this config.

It works because I have tried It ON my old system.

I have tried It with 780 and 290x. In my old system with a 4770k.

I've gave a shout out to the other guys on the forum for assistance in surround setups, in the meantime, can you fill in your system specs for us?

Thank you for explaining that to him :)

But yet he still claims 7680 x 1080 with only 3 monitors in his specs

Please list the make and model of each monitor, unless they are all the same.
