Can't identify nor install graphics drivers

    Hey mates!
I have a problem. I built my own computer but forgot which graphics card I installed, so I need some app to a)identify my graphics card. I know it's gigabyte nvidia. And then I need to download the corresponding graphics drivers because my graphics driver dvd isn't working. thanks heaps!

hi can you not open the case and see what graphics card you have or run speccy to identify it. Speccy - System Information - Free Download
or go here and use option 2 Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

How about the box it came in, can you look at that ?

Seriously, just use the latest nvidia driver or run the auto detector.

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

It really makes me wonder when people say they built their own computer and they don`t know what parts they used.

Don`t take this personal, it just Grinds my gears

I too don't know how one builds their own PC and doesn't know what hardware they used.

I think there is also another problem. The CD/DVD player and or it's connections. It should be able to read the driver disc that came with the Video card.
