NVidia Gforce drivers for my hp laptop

I just installed Windows 7 x64 Ultimate on my HP Pavilion dt9700t laptop. It has a Nvidia GForce somethingsomething graphics card. But now windows 7 just sees a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter and all of my cool graphics functionality is gone.

HP says they won't support Windows 7 on my one year old laptop (my last HP!!).

So I need to find what card I have then see if Nvidia has a driver for it that will run on windows 7. My hardware ids from device manager are as follows:
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0425&SUBSYS_30CC103C&REV_A1
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0425&SUBSYS_30CC103C
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0425&CC_030000
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0425&CC_0300

does that identify my graphics card? Is there a driver for it?
    Thanks,
    Gary

It will work fine. Just need to disable driver enforcement permanently after or use f8 to start the machine and choose not to check drivers.

Or install the Vista driver using device manager.

    the vista driver will work??

If the Vista driver will work (and it's signed) then that sounds like the answer - right?

    Vista driver = 1.0 WDDM
7 driver and my method = 1.1 WDDM
NVIDIA does offer Windows 7 1.1 driver for many models. My method is basically for those having problems installing or can't find driver (like Sony.)

So you have to make a personal decision based on all knowledge.

I downloaded and installed the NVidia Gforce vista driver and it worked great. Thanks to all for the help.
(I had to go into Performance in control panel after it was installed and hit the update button to get Aero to work and my performance score beyone 1.0 however)
