I also recommend EVGA, Corsair doesn`t even make their power supplies.
Doesn't matter who makes them, they're top quality PSUs.
Quality is good but they are well overpriced seems to me :/

I just checked the stock at Flipkart, a major PC component supplier in India.

Of the brands well known in the USA, they carry only Corsair, Coolermaster, Seasonic, and Antec.

I looked through what they had for each of those brands, 500 watts and up, and checked who actually made each of the available PSUs.

Corsair: best candidates are the RM550 and the RM650. Both made by Channel Well, fully modular, and 80 plus Gold.

Coolermaster: the V550/V550S is a good unit with all Japanese capacitors, quiet, and highly efficient at low loads. But it’s not available at Flipkart.

Antec: There are 6 available, but I’m not sure about any of them. Maybe the EA 550 Platinum?

Seasonic: S12G-550 and S12G-650; both semi-modular and 80 plus Gold.

Of those, I go with the Seasonics or maybe the Corsair RM series.
