but afterburner is not lettin me overclock further than the ccc would allow me ive uninstalled ccc but still being capped at 960-1445 when i try and set the speed higher it just jumps back to the last settings ..
its letting me increase voltage though and control fan speed with no probs

Might need to hardmod/bios or find a way to up the Vcore. All GFX/CPU can only softmod so far (unless it has control of the Vcore)! So you have to up the voltage to get higher stable clocks, it's the nature of physics. The faster you want something done the more energy has to go into it... Well not completely true, but if you want to make something go faster at a constant rate you have to use more energy. So in the end, higher clock = more delicious voltage! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7, Linux CPU AMD Phemon II x2 3@3750 Motherboard ASRock M3A770DE Memory 1G Crucial 1666 Graphics Card 8800GT OC (custom OC) Sound Card Sound Blaster Live! Are you running two 52" monitors? The results you got from CCC isn't enough?
