The graphics card i use GTX 780 DVI D port that i'm trying to use on it has never been tested on a VGA circuit. So i've just gotta see once i get that micro USB.

I can use that monitor on HDMI and that native res, but have 2 problems - 1 the thing i'm using to drag across to it barely fits the window.

And my screen keeps minimizing my flight sim game when in full screen mode?

So you`re saying using HDMI you can only go up to a certain resolution, but with vga you can go higher and the window you drag over will fit ?

Did you order or get the proper adapter you need ?

Yeh HDMI recommends alot lower res than the DVI I cable i was using but i'm using that DVI I port for my smaller monitor as that is purely VGA and needs that port.

So thats why i got a DVI D adapter from amazon so i could connect my LCD which is VGA output to that DVI D port.

Well i connected that adapter last night and it was causing my screen to flicker on and off? Maybe it needs that micro USB? I will get one today :)

First try that adapter alone, remove/disable the other displays (if possible). Start adding after you make sure it is working.
