Laptop keeps turning off during low spec games.

Hi I have a mecer laptop, Windows 7 64bit, an I7-3630QM cpu, 24GB DDR-3, 1Tb solid state hard drive, with plenty of space. Nvidia geforce GTX 660 2GB GPU.

I can play games like FarCry 4, GTA V, although not with full graphics but decent settings. Now today I installed Dragon Ball Xenoverse and even on the lowest settings my laptop just turns off with out any warning. it also done the same yesterday with StarCraft 2. also a new download.

I had this problem before with Thief and then it affected other games as well. I took it to the shop then they blamed the drivers, and the problem was fixed. Today I removed the drivers and re-installed them today but the problem is as persistent as my will to play this game.

if any one can please help. And its not overheating of any hardware, my laptop is as cool as the flip side of the pillow.

Try adjusting individual game settings in NVidia Control Panel - Manage 3D Settings.

Power management mode: Prefer Max performance etc.

Sorry can't be specific, you have to experiment.
