That has nothing to do with it. And ram does not turbo, only the cpu.

That`s just what Intel advertises, they are not in the habit of listing oc ram, they never have, that`s up to the board manufacturer.

the 4790K only list as high as 1600, but I`m running 2400 and higher.

the 6700K only lists 2133 and we all have seen it run much higher ram.

OC ram does not run at OC speed until you set it to, it runs at factory speed out of the box.

My Trident X runs at 1600 until I tell it to run at 2400

TridentX - F3-2400C10Q-16GTX - G.SKILL DDR3 Memory

Go ahead run Linux, let us know if it crashes

Zorin OS - Home

Get a fresh fully updated install of 7 SP1 64 bit on a Samsung or Intel SSD in your PC and the latest nVidia drivers and you will never crash again

Lots of problems
Two nights ago I had realized that I lost all sound and noises that Win7 usually makes. This didn't bother me too much, as I thought I could fix it by adjusting the mixer levels. I was completely wrong, I started to get worried and google'd answers. One of the responses was to hit the "Windows...
