Windows 7: What is DX9EX in DXDIAG?

What is DX9EX in DXDIAG?

GPU-Z doesnt tell me i even have a shader model but it says i have DX9 and SM= (blank space)
and DXDiag tells me i have DX9EX and idk what that stands for google search tells me nothing about DX9EX help? I have intel express chipset G33

D3D9EX is the newer version of DX9, offers faster alt-tabbing (From what I know).

Strange you`re not up to DX11, probably a limitation of the motherboard, and maybe the Celeron.

DXdiag says I have 4 cores, is this with hyperthreading?
On DXdiag and control panel it says "4 cpu's" and when I open up task manager it also shows just 4 boxes. Doe sthat mean I have 4 physical cores? Or is DXdiag counting my threads as physical cores?

Nvidia GPU not showing up in DxDiag
My laptop comes with a GeForce GT, it says so on a sticker and it shows up in the Device Manager. However, when i bring up DxDiag, under the "Display 1" and "Display 2" tabs, I only see Intel HD Graphics. Why is that so? Is my GeForce in use when I play games?
