Aspect Ratio slightly off at Native Resolution

I'm using an Asus VE247T Monitor through DVI, I have it currently set to 1920x1080, which google insists is the native resolution, it is also the recommended resolution in screen settings.

For the most part things look fine, but just to try and test everything was definitely good, I tried to draw a circle using tools in photoshop... and it did not make a circle, it was higher vertically than it should have been.

Not sure what to make of this or how to go about fixing it, I would assume my graphics card is doing something wrong or some setting in Windows 7 is conflicting?

Have you checked the monitor adjustments?

Are you saying it was more egg shaped ?

Do the same thing with Paint, does it look normal ?

Yeah paint does the same thing, if I use the oval tool in that while holding shift, it makes an imperfect circle. A bit more egg shaped yes.

I'm not sure what you mean by checking the monitor adjustments.

He means, set the monitor to factory specs, there is a rest option, use the buttons on the monitor to find it.

If that doesn`t fix it, call the manufacturer.

I would also seriously consider a new NVIDIA card

I`m not partial, no not at all

Resolution/Aspect Ratio problem
Trying to get my resolution to the correct settings, but I only get two choices; 1024x768 or 800x600. On a 15.4'' laptop screen I'm sure I should have the choice for 1280x800. If anyone thinks they can help, just let me know what more information you need. Thanks.
