According to this, the only kind of video card you can run is a PCI one. Newegg has a decent variety of them. Get something with DX10. Check on your power supply that it isn't something really weak like only 200W because then, you may run into problems. Also make sure that there are no yellow exclamation points in the device manager.

(psssst....try to install this bios that all the owners seem to rave about here.)

Could you provide us with the exact make and model of your video card?

BTW, Windows 7 ships with DirectX 11.

Heh heh, no way. That's a PCI-e card which is completely different than PCI.

Here's an HD card for the PCI slot. But again, check on your power supply because it is probably very weak.

There's no way to run DX11 from a PCI slot.

Here's a complete list of what Newegg has for PCI, sorted high to low by price.

No offense, but why would you say to buy something new, when the problem could be fixed with the right drivers for the current card?

Sorry, I'm used to the other Windows 7 forum that I post more often on. I forgot that location.

It is basically a budget PC.

I'm wondering how old the computer is.

I really don't prefer sites like this but there are downloads for Window7 64-bit drivers for the ATI Radeon Xpress 200

It's all good, but he says he wants to play without it being choppy.
