The latest driver for your graphics card is the last one provided by HP.

Loading drivers from elsewhere is going to cause you nothing but problems. For a laptop, always use the manufacturer's provided drivers.

The problem is that driver I am trying to install is from the HP page of supported drivers for my laptop. And im currently stuck with a graphics card which is not working.

Try using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) from guru. is latest. Extract from zip and run in safe mode. Reinstall new driver after reboot. If that doesn't work, reinstall previous working driver. Good luck
