    AMD Catalyst Control Center will not start

    Looking for some help as i'm generally stuck with this issue.

    Yesterday night my computer crashed, on start-up it could not load past the windows logo.
    I started it in safe-mode and tried a previous system restore to no avail.

    I then read to uninstall my Intel (R) HD Graphics Family should solve the issue which it did until I restarted my laptop and found myself stuck back at the windows logo.

    I did the same thing through safe mode and updated my graphic card drivers
    Intel (R) HD Graphics Family ----------------> Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000

    Radeon (TM) HD 7690M XT -------------------> ???????????????

    The Radeon graphics card has since reverted itself to its original driver (8.882.2.3000)
    this is the driver status (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43))

    Also my AMD Catalyst Control Center will not start, and have no idea how to get it working.

    As on now my laptop will boot all fine, so no need for safe mode, but I have no idea where to go from here to fix my issue! Any help will be greatly appreciated as I've been causing me the largest headache the last 24 hours

    First of all, get your drivers from here:

    HP Software and Driver Downloads for HP Printers, Laptops, Desktops and More | HP® Customer Support

    not Driver Sweeper. Third party driver programs are notorious for giving you the wrong drivers, and/or malware. Only use them as a last resort.

    With a laptop, you should always get drivers from the manufacturer and nowhere else. OEM drivers are specifically made for your hardware.

    just so you know driver sweeper I not a driver finder. it is used to get rid of driver left overs. I agree with you on getting drivers from the laptop manufacture.

    I was using the driver sweeper to completely remove my old drivers which seem to be the issue. Not to find new drivers

    Update it seems that removing the display drivers and then booting in safe mode and running drive sweeper did the trick.
    If anyone else is having the a similar problem instal your AMD graphic drivers with out catalyst control centre
