    Changed to 106%.
    Ran UserBenchMark and when it got to testing the graphics card it crashed.
    i have updated the drivers to 361.75.
    When I installed the drivers, I did a clean install again using Guru3D to clean out the drivers.
    I did not install the two 3D vision drivers or the HD audio drivers. Should these be installed?

    This morning I did a clean install via Guru3D of drivers 361.75. I installed everything including 3D stuff and HD sound stuff.
    Ran Kombustor stress tests and I could run everything, yippee.

    Opened Afterburner and changed the fan speed to increase earlier than auto and then ran a stress test and crashed, bugger.

    Set fan back to normal via afterburner but still crashed on stress test.
    Clean install of drivers again with everything but still crashes on certain stress tests.
    Clean install of drivers again without the 3D stuff or HD audio, still crashes.

    I am at a loss as to what the issue could be. Kombustor will crash my system if I try to run the following FurMark tests;
    GPU core burner V2 (Furry PQTorus)
    [B] GPU core burner V2 (Furry Donut)
    GPU core burner (Furry MSI); note sometimes this works sometimes it crashes?????
    GPU core burner (Furry Donut)

    System crashes when I try to run the following tessellation tests;
    Tessellation Burner
    Lakes of Titan V1 X16
    All other tessellation tests run fine.

    Could there be a driver conflict and if so, how would I know? I ran windows memory test and there were no problems.

    What should I do next?
    What version driver should I be using?
    What should I be installing and what should I leave out?

    Finally, after a clean install I end up with NVidia folders in the following places.
    c:\program file:NVIDIA Corporation
    c:\program files (x86):NVIDIA Corporation
    c:\program data:NVIDIA and c:\program data:NVIDIA Corporation

    I don't think these folder were present when the system ran fine this morning, it just had the one NVidia folder in c drive, however I could be wrong. but I am fairly sure they weren't there.

    Hi,
    I'm personally still on 361.75
    I do like the 3D driver it makes things look a little better than without it
    I do not load the audio drivers everything else is how the tutorial shows.

    Hi Thrashzone,
    When you install your drivers do you include GEForce experience as well as the two 3D options?
    Do you install the Phys X option?
    Do you end up with lots of NVidia folders like I have listed above?
    So you runs stress tests and if so which ones?

    Sorry for all the questions, just trying to see what I can do to get this new card stable.
    Cheers

    Hi
    On a basic system Acer in my spec's I only use these,
    New graphics card crashes, MSI GPX 970-nvidia-drivers-acer.jpg
    I believe my asus system is the same
    No G.E. on either I don't use it if I need a driver I go get it
    Newest drive is not always the best driver to have installed

    I'm not all that happy the way NVidia added Vulkan API to it's newest driver downloads
    NVidia does not even list it as being installed so it's more or less a pup = Potential Unwanted Program some would consider malware :)

    I did a clean reinstall similar to what you have. Just tried to run Kombustor benchmark furry donut test, got to 16% complete and then crashed, bugger.
    Any other suggestions? Should I just ignore these benchmark tests?

    On a side note, using msconfig and looking at start up I get all this;
