    "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"


    Just started seeing this; what can I do? Screen goes dark for a second then comes back.



    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1, HP H8-1010t PC (Windows Media Center PC, circa 2011.)

    Hi when is the last time you cleaned out computer? also see if updating the video driver helps.

    when you say clean out, you mean, disc cleanup, defrag, crap cleaner, etc?

    I, um, don't know how to update the video drivers.

    when I said clean out . I should of said take side cover off and blow out the computer with compressed air. making sure you unplug computer first. go to hp support site and see if they have an updated driver. or go to the video card manufacture and see if they have an updated driver for the card if it separate from the motherboard.

    look in device manager and see what type of video card you have is it NVidia or amd then you know what driver to download and install if this is your computer in the link.

    you mean Display Adapters? AMD Radeon HD 6450
