Some website dont fit my screen resolution in firefox

Firstly,
i have xfx geforce 9500 gt card and lg flatron f7oop
and win 7 recommended resolution of 1280*1024

websites display correctly in internet explorer

but in firefox, websites like facebook and this forum dont fit the width of the screen - they are very small

what can i do?
