search on resolution and it will take you to screen resolution (or go to control panel > display) Then find the resolution that is a 16:10 ratio, such as 1280x800 (you will have to do the math yourself)

Not all resolutions are available on all monitors

It is often a case of fitting the Wallpaper to the screen resolution rather than the screen to the wallpaper.

There is normally an option to display all resolutions on the display options but this is not recommended

If you have a particular wallpaper that is "needed" the best thing is to edit the original to fit.

I use Irfanview for this but many others are available

"I use desktop nexus and their widescreen options are 1280x800 (16:10) or something and then 1440x800 (16:9) mine is in between the two"

Your W1943SB-PF has a native resolution of 1366 x 768, which is 16:9, so select 16:9 in nexus. 16:9 wallpapers should look normal to you. As posted earlier, if you want to use a wallpaper made for a 16:10 desktop, just use irfanview to chop off an inch along the bottom of the image file.

There is no option to select 16:9 unless I am missing something.

+1 on Irfan view. Very easy to resize.
