win7 dualscreen and wrong display resolution

hi
im running win 7 x86 in a vaio vgn nr 21s/s with a 8400mgt and i cant find a driver which displays my correct resolution in my external wide screen (22'' at 1680/1050)

all i cant get is 1600/1200 or above but not he optimal

if someone could help me ill be grateful

i tried a lot, 195.55, 195.39, dox modified for182.46 vista... (all from laptop2video)

always the same problem

Those are drivers for your gfx card, not your monitor... go to the manufacturers' website and download the latest drivers...

same trouble with my monitor's driver (samsung syncmaster 226bw)

i had the same problem when i tried Windows 7 x64 and only one driver run the displays correctly (dox modified 182.46) but unfortunately doesn't work on x84
