yea they are the best value.... well i looked.... sadly they have no 5870s but.... they do have 5770's and two of those on cf are about as fast as a 5870
and since your mobo supports cf..... (not sli) two of these would be good unless you'd rather wait a bit for a 5870 to come in stock or go with nividia (bleh )

I'd go with a Nvidia card because the W7 API can use the card for a number of things to help performance besides gaming.

As for a card with some muscle I'd go with the EVGA GTX275 WTF Edition.

GeForce GTX 275 Core Clock 713 MHz Shader Clock 1512 MHz Stream Processors 240 Processor Cores Memory Memory Clock 2520 MHz Memory Size 896MB Memory Interface 448-bit Memory Type DDR3 3D API DirectX DirectX 10 OpenGL OpenGL 3.0 Ports DVI 2 x DVI TV-Out HDTV Out
um...... why go for something that slow? with is budget a HD5870 would be a perfect fit.... and remember.... its dx11

also..... what site will you be buying your card from?
that is if your cpu won't bottleneck this

i would hold for the 5870, but if you get tired of waiting the two 5770's will last you for a good while

It all depends on how desperate for a new card you are.
