    dual monitor problem

Hello. I've just installed windows 7 and I'm expiriencing the following problem. I'm using a dual monitor setup with a philips 170B running at 1280x1024 and a LG W2253 wide running at 1920x1080. The problem is whatever I try to do, the screens wont be placed in a straight line, fitting exactly on the same size. Some small portion of the LG will be outsite of the other screens limits, making windows uneven, etc. Back in Windows xp I never had this problem. Is there anything I can do to fix this? thx :)

Use the controls on the monitor itself to adjust the width, height and position.

I dont mean that there are blank spaces on the edge of my screen, It's just that the edges wont stuck and the mouse pointer will be automatically moved like 2 cm lower when passing from the one screen to the other. It's just that I never had this problem with XP :S

Oh ok then. You can set the positions manually in the display device management screen. Drag them till you're satisfied.

Right click the desktop and choose screen resolution. Hit apply or ok after you set them to the positions you want them in.

You're never going to get exact lateral transistions when the vertical pixel numbers show any disparity, as they do in your case, you have a 200 pixels difference and the cursor will shift abruptly when crossing the screen edge to the alternate monitor.
