Problem with driver

    I had the same problem,turned out to be my anti-virus because when i paused the protection and installed the nvidia drivers again they installed no problem.So try turning off your anti-virus and then try Installing see If that helps.

    I'm having similar probs cmillen, although I'm on Windows 7 no upgrades

    I've been told Windows is having issues with IE 64bit and to use the 32bit

    Problems I was having were page freezing, black screen, and graphics card coming back from recovery, and I thought it was the graphics card

    Totally lost the ability to even load Explorer and had to boot to safe mode to reset so Explorer would even open.

    What I did was:

    Shutdown > start up > start tapping F8 key to go to safe mode

    Go to start > accessories > Internet Explorer

    Click on Explorer > tools > internet options > reset

    Once it resets, shutdown and start up again
