    Hey I got a lead, now that you've found the number go to the acer site and choose you location and you can get all the drivers there

    Hmm, went on acer and found the drivers but it says that this system doesn't support windows 7? That's a problem here...

    Rightclick on the driver and select "troubleshoot compatibility."
    once it''s done thinking select "troubleshoot program", then check 'this program worked in earlier versions" select "vista", then start. if same error retry with "XP sp3"

    I think what he meant was that on the Acer site, it says that W7 is not supported. Vista drivers normally work however.

    but they sometimes refuse to install on 7 because they are hard-coded to onlky install in Vista. this bypasses that.
