@bernnie369 I should have kept a close eye on this thread. First off on post # 10 click on the blue catalog link it will give you the win 7 client sis651 video driver ,click on it add to basket> then click on view basket and choose download>browse download to desktop . Click on file>then porperties>then at the top click on compatibility>you'll see a box and drop down menu choose XP>then check the box run in compatibility mode. Go to device manager>click update driver>browse my computer>let me pick>have disk type in the box where you downloaded the file to on your desktop>open file double click the .inf file>hit ok and let install. If it installs you should have in device manager under display adpater sis651. If not then your system is most likely to old to run seven without purchasing a newer AGP graphic card. then it is still iffy. Fabe

That didn't work either, however I DID get it resolved! I went into update the driver & this time I thought I'd have it search in the Windows.old folder it created when I installed Windows 7. It found one & began installing but said it couldn't complete because it couldn't find the setup file. But it gave me the driver number I needed which I found on sis.com & downloaded & it worked! Yahoo for cocoa puffs!

Thank you all for the time you put into helping me - I really appreciate it!

    Happy Holidays to Everyone!

I'm extremely happy you got it to work. For once doing an upgrade was a good thing. Sorry we couldn't have resolved this for you. You actualy taught me another way to possibly get older systems to work. Happy Holidays to you from all of us, now enjoy Windows Seven. Fabe

    Hello,

You didn't give much info about your system, but try these drivers.

If you have the 64-bit Windows 7: ATI Catalyst? Legacy Display Driver

If you have the 32-bit Windows: ATI Catalyst? Legacy Display Driver

If the drivers don't install, right-click on the file and select Troubleshoot Compatibility.
