No prob.
IMO, the HD 5850 & 5870 will have trouble keeping up with these new nVidia cards.
But then again, AMD will probably have an answer for 'em in the HD 5890. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Built OS Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i5-2500K Motherboard ASUS P8P67 Memory 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Sound Card ASUS Xonar DS Monitor(s) Displays SAMSUNG P2070 Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 @ 60Hz Keyboard Logitech K300 Black Mouse Genius on Steelseries 4HD Gaming pad PSU Corsair TX950W Case Corsair Obsidian 650D Cooling Thermaltake Frío Hard Drives WD Caviar Blue Other Info Headphones: Sennheiser HD-515 |

unfortunately though the game only detects 998mb of VRAM rather than the 2048mb that's on the card, its gotta be crossfire related, but if i could access that my draw distance & the others (cant remember what they are now) would be @ 100% All I can say is w00t
Unfortunately is does answer the one niggling question about the 2GB of Vram on that card actually being usable.
I suspected it wouldn't be that's is bloody stupid, so that other GB of RAM just sits there, doing nothing.......

my Quad @ 3.6ghz is a serious bottleneck & i think my chip is slightly better than yours clock for clock... (no Ego involved)

Yeah
I should have known by looking at the specs, but I lived in hope of some 'magic'. If it were truly 2Gb usable, that would have meant each 'card' has 2GB alone.
Then they would have marketed it as 4GB | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Computers by SmartEyeball OS 8 Pro x64 CPU i7 3770K 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS P8Z77 WS Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz Graphics Card 3x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WindForce *TRI SLI* Sound Card ALC898 / 5.1 receiver/ ATH-AD900 Headphones Monitor(s) Displays x3 Dell U2410 / 58" Samsung / "40 Sony Screen Resolution 5760*1200/ 1920*1200 / 1920*1080 Keyboard Topre Realforce // Ducky Shine MX Black // Filco Ninja TKL Mouse Razer Imperator + Thermaltake Theron PSU Corsair AX1200W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives 2x Intel 520 240GB (RAID 0) * 2x WD Caviar Blacks 2TB (RAID 0) * 2TB WD Caviar Black Antivirus MSE Browser IE, FF Other Info GT Extreme V2 Sim Racing Cockpit + 40" LCD and K/B Mouse stand ▼

lol...... & then the B/S just starts to spiral
it cant be that hard to implement, surly..??, or maybe it is being fully utilized but the apps weren't designed to show RAM split up on a single PCB.
i do hope the latter is the case.. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number myself OS SEVEN x64 CPU Q9450 @ 3.6GHZ 1.34v Motherboard ASUS P5K PREMIUM P35 Memory 8GB 1066 buffalo firestix @ 1152mhz CL5 Graphics Card Sapphire HD 5970 + GTX260 (physX) Sound Card Creative X-FI Xtreme Gamer Monitor(s) Displays SAMSUNG 20'' & SAMSUNG 23'' (dual screens) Screen Resolution 2048x1152 & 1680x1050 Keyboard LOGITECH E110 Mouse logitech NX5 PSU XCILIO 850w (78A) Case CM590 1x 120x38mm & 2x92x38mm / 4x 120x25mm Cooling AC7 PRO @ 92x38mm blower, Lamptron military bus bay controll Hard Drives 1x seagate 160gb IDE & 1x seagate 160gb SATA Internet Speed 2MB Other Info its a continual ''work in progress''.... |

i do hope the latter is the case.. It's the same with any dual card setup in SLI/Crossfire. Look at GPU-Z when you're running the game, and both sets of memory should be being used, but it's only the same things being added afaik, so say you're staring at a wall in game, the wall texture will be loaded in to both sets of memory, I think... but like what SE said, for single PCB cards, it is more or less a marketing gimmick. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 3.2GHz Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card Zotac Nvidia Geforce GTX470 Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Corsair H60 Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 16Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player my HD5970 experience problems?
