Nvidia go7950 & Dell XPS M1710

    Nvidia go7950 & Dell XPS M1710


    I have the above configuration when i attempt to install the nvidia driver my system, simply hangs. The repair reports the driver as being an issue. Can anyone offer any assitance. I have read elsewwhere on the net and others say this is working very well.

    Hi CAD, Welcome to SF,

    You might wanna remove the drives that came with Microsoft update first.

    Go to Start > Right click on Computer > Click on Properties > Then Click on Device Manager

    Expand Display driver Right Click on Nvidia <xxxx>
    Go to Properties > Go To Driver Tab > Click on Uninstall

    Then you can use the Tool nVidia - Nasty File Remover

    Then Reboot the system

    Then download the latest divers from here

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 195.62 WHQL
