Windows 7, games keep flashing and hard to use

    Windows 7, games keep flashing and hard to use


    I got a dell inspiron desktop 530s and I installed windows 7 with all the drivers all games seem to do it, idk what graphics card I got LOL

    Ducky welcome to the forums.

    From what I can see it has one of three possible video cards (based on looking at the general download page for the 530S),

    1. Intel onboard

    2. An ATI card

    3. Nvidia card

    Seeing as you say you're not sure go here,

    Dell System Information / Dell Warranty Extensions & Upgrades / Dell Warranty Status

    and use the service tag number from your computer to find out which one it came with (assuming it hasn't been changed since the computer was bought).

    That link doesn't work without the service tag. If you have to post a screen shot of what it shows.

    if you dont know what graphics card/chipset you have how did you install the correct driver?

    type dxdiag in search and it should tell you, if not let us know

    Intel(3) g33/g31 Express chipset family?

    That will do. From that it says you have the Intel G31/G33 video, which you can get the latest windows 7 driver from here,

    Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* 7(exe)

    kk I did it, And it got worse in my windows expierance thingy the gaming graphics gone from 3.3 to 2.0 and the games flash even more! :O
