    Upgraded graphics from 8800 GT to Radeon 5770


    I upgraded my video card from the old GeForce 8800 GT, 512 MB, to the ATI Radeon 5770, 1 GB.

    Here's a snapshot the Windows Experience Index:

    Which I got to thinking.. is there a system out there that reports 7.9 in all categories?

    Don't worry : you only have a mid-range card. I don't know for sure, but I think a system with maybe an overclocked core i9 (coming soon) with a HD 5990 (coming soon) would be 7.9.
    And that would be expensive (!)

    Correction : DDR5 RAM (If that will even exist) and 24 ssd's in raid0! Lols pizza

    GDDR5 is for graphics cards (wonder if 'G' stands for graphics ). DDR just by itself is usually RAM.

Hi all, Looking to get this and, after some research, have realised my PSU won't be able to supprot it. Can anyone suggest a good and reliable PSU? I'm assuming I'll need at least 450W from what I've read, with a 6-pin connector for the card. Any suggestion or pointers welcome!

Just upgraded my pc from a 400w psu to a 750w, and from a 9500gt to a ATI 5770. Now I'm getting an error "NTLDR is missing, CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart. I've checked and checked to make sure all the cables from the PSU are int he right place but I cant find anything. And the error "NTLDR" is hard...
I heard the fact this card is only 128 bit is a bad thing, i don't know too much about computers so can someone explain to me what that does and how having it that low will effect gameplay? and if it is a bad card can u pls reccomend me something in the same range? thanks :0
