not so much that the ram is bad but i have read weird issues with 7 and more than 4 gigs was just curios what would happen also you might try a slight voltage bump in the pcie settings in the bios it could help to make it more stable
Yeah, I understand how that might work for an unstable setup, but that doesn't explain why it would work perfectly stable after a driver install. Thats my main focus. What happens with the drivers, its the same every time. They corrupt after an installation within windows mostly, thats how I can measure it most clearly.

No I haven't. I understand the bios was for adding fan control. I have looked into it, but my card already had manual fan control.

Tried the ATI flashtool, but it wouldn't work

    bios

ok the bios which included the manual fan control seemed to help some folks with your issue if it helps you are not alone these drivers are very buggy i am just trying to find a combo that may get you stable

Yeah, somehow I already had that bios. But corrupted drivers seem to be normal with ATI over time, only not this fast. I mean, I can play Dirt 2 for hours without a single hickup at Ultra settings 60Hz vsync with full fps, after a fresh driver install, but doing stuff in windows just messes it up permanently.

No, just the 9.12 hotfix drivers, and today the new 9.12 beta drivers. I have crossfire in Dirt 2 when I install drivers.
