... or... since you're not complaining about the card slowing down, just crashing... take a less radical approach and let it cool on it's own.

Sounds like you need a cooling pad.

Yeah, it's occasionally used to play games which are freely available on the internet so its not a big problem for me.
It just makes me laugh that it gets so hot, if it burns up I get a replacement so not to worry.
I think it deserves a clean today.

Old laptop on last legs, New one on the way, have a question
Hey guys/gals, my HP G62-37DX laptop is on its way out. I get a BSOD almost every time I turn it on (Caps Lock blinks once every few secs), even if I only put it to sleep. Takes multiple hard resets and some luck (I'm assuming) to get it to boot up. I tried re-seating RAM but it doesn't do a thing....
