    Dual ATI Radeon 3870 w/ 3 monitors

    Hey,

I've installed Windows 7 yesterday and only one of my card seems to be working as it is the only one who displays something.

The weird thing is that when I plug a monitor in the DVI port in the other card, I hear that DING song that signals that hardware has been connected but nothing shows up.

Any ideas what could possibly be the problem?

Obviously, the three monitors were working under Vista.

    Thank you very much,

did you install Windows 7 with the 2 cards installed...??, if so the 2nd card may need to be reseated now that the new OS is running. :)

If this doesnt work, Please try taking out the working card, and replacing it with the other one. It could be that one of youre pci ports is damaged, or that the card is damaged.

    Hey,

I did the reseat thingy with my card and I re-installed the ATI display driver and while it was installing, the standard windows 7 background showed up in my third screen, as if it was going to start but once the installation was over, it simply stopped working.

    Any thoughts?

    Thks for the help guys!

You have to disable Crossfire to be able to use any monitors connected to the second card.

Have you tried to detect all monitors? Is the Crossfire setup connected properly?
