Help please get my tv hooked up to my laptop

    well, i have tryed that, and i do get a picture on the tv, but the refesh rate is wrong or something, because there are lines scrolling through the picture so you cant make anything out. and without the ATI program it wont let me change any settings for the tv.

    I see. Does the TV has settings of its own you could alter, to make the picture better?

    your card probably can not output the correct resolution to your tv, i'm assuming that your tv is a HDTV (correct?)

    Please tell us the model of your tv, so we can see what resolution it runs.

    it is not an HDTV the model # is JVC av-27d503

    Thats a really old TV, i dont seem to find the resolution by googleing it... Did anyone?
