| | Intel 45 Express Chipset Memory Question I have an HP Laptop Model: CQ50-139WM The Graphics built is the Intel 45 Express Chipset It tells me it can use up to 256MB but it reads to me in GPU-Z that its only using 64MB. The advanced settings under the graphics card says the same. This could be whats causing graphics issues. | Win7 Ultimate x64 on Desktop / Win7 Ultimate x86 on laptop / Win7 x86 Starter on Netbook | The build in graphics gpu's usually share memory with your RAM. This would reduce the available RAM.  |

| Win7 Ultimate x64 on Desktop / Win7 Ultimate x86 on laptop / Win7 x86 Starter on Netbook | It shows the memory built into the video card (64Mb), and if it needs more it uses system memory up to (256Mb). |

| | In the bios you can change the amount of ram the GPU uses in most cases... You say the bios offers nothing but in my bios i must press ctrl+f1 to get the hidden advanced options up, and that is one of them...?? Just a thought, |
