Get alienware drivers from the manufacturer.

Getting drivers for the m15x directly from the manufacturer is a good idea, but:

    Drivers & Downloads=

only includes drivers for the 240M and 260M. (This is from the Dell support pages.)

Or are you seeking drivers for a different system?

I had a similar issue with the drivers for my 8200M (cheap HP/Compaq laptop), but the latest drivers I have for it are from Windows update. Apparently Compaq used a nonstandard device ID for the 8200M in my system. That appears to be common for notebook manufacturers.

    Good luck.

Use this to get weird laptop display drivers...
One Nvidia ForceWare driver can be installed on many series of Nvidia chipsets (I have quite some of them), all you need is a custom .inf file that will allow you to get the driver installed.
