NVIDIA Geforce 210 shows 1GB when box shows 512

Hey so I have an Nvidia Geforce 210, and the box says its 512 MB, but both the info displays on Windows XP and 7 say It has 1 GB. I'll add a screenshot. Any clues? Thanks guys!

    Hello!

Retailers do make mistakes. It is possible you have a different card than you think. Download Speccy and find your video card. Is it the same as displayed on the box?

Funny... I don't know what to tell you. I looked up your card and it certainly appears that it is 512.

Yeah me too. Would you happen to have an e-mail or phone number I could use to contact Nvidia?

Open Nvidia Control Panel if you already install Nvidia driver and see if it 512 or 1024 plus download CPU-Z as well... you may need update latest driver to check again and yes it quite strange on your screenshot

Look through everything in the Nvidia control panel for something called "TurboCache", if you find it that will be why it is showing 1 GB of memory for the card. TurboCache uses sutem memory to add to what the video card comes with/can use.

If it is TurboCache disable it as that card isn't fast enough to even make use of the 512 MB that is on the card.

If it's actually 1GB, don't call nVidia, you just got a better graphics card.
