Its great, but it will be useless if we don't know your hardware - post a screenshot of HWinfo32's summary screen in my driver's guide - also what PSU do you have? What connectors, amps, and rail's?

I dont have the computer yet because it was just customized off of the Website.

For the PSU its says 875W, if thats what your asking for.

Don't customize - its overpriced, build it yourself and that doesn't really help - it could be a cheap $50 PSU. Essentially, build it yourself.

I always customize my computers off Alienware and its great i haven't had problems in the past, And i don't find it over priced either.

I was just wondering how well this video card is.

Alienware is a rip off even if you can afford it. The card is fine, but I would strongly recommend you build a new PC.

Ok, Thanks for the advice. When you say Build a new PC, do you mean, Buy one then customize it myself? because im not very good at that kind of stuff.

I mean buy the parts and put it together. How much do you want to spend? This is the one I built and as you can see it is excellent:

Excellent gaming performance in 7

The price should be just right too. I would recommend changing to a Phenom X4 965 if you can add an extra $100. Slightly more futureproof.

I don't agree with that universally. If the person has never done it before and they don't have anybody there who can help them, this can be a very daunting task that might not turn out the best. I've built so many machines and helped friends with theirs that building a machine for me is like making a box of macaroni and cheese at this point.

I do agree that we can provide him with help and recommendations if he chooses to put the machine together himself...but I don't think it's wise to push him into this decision and assume it's the best solution.

However, I do concur that while Alienware machines are nice...for what you get..they are overpriced and you can do much better.
